US Marine going up a Terrace Iwo Jima
Sorry Have been away for a wile with personal problems, my wife has had our second child baby Natalie, never been happier.
Anyway got this illustration in of a marine looking menacing.
Been watching The Pacific from HBO what a fantastic program, has given me more drive to get this concept book done of the battle for Iwo and other pacific battles in world war two.
This image is just a too practice my painting skills. still trying to get more detail and slicker work.
I will get there one day.The Book now has changed from graphic noval to concept art book.

IWO JIMA Novel PAGE 6
Still plugging away with more added pages.
I am reasonably happy with my progress, still a long way to go yet,
Will add extra bits to this novel.
Not just more comic layout's but posters concept art, soldier profiles and Marine and Japanese
uniforms & equipment.
as well as the cover still to come... I want this to be a jumbo book like the old annuals we used to get as
young kids in the 80's.
looking to find a publisher in US willing to take this on, we will have to wait and see.
That's at the back of my mind at the moment.
Just really enjoying doing this.
The more time I work on it the better it will get.
Any comments would be more than welcome.

Japanese Wedding
This is a commission I got to do for some japanese friends of my Wife Yoko
( who is also japanese) for a wedding next month in Japan.

for all the wrong reasons.

Just updating everyone with my latest pages from my novel I am working on I am spending most my week nights and week ends
doing this I need to follow this through.
This is a big project one that will lead to publishing, in the not to long distant future.
